Razer Deathadder 2013 aka V3 to the Deathadder Chroma (2015) mouse sensor information

This (newer) Deathadder Chroma gaming mouse is built with optical technology (Avago ADNS s3988 Sensor), impressively featuring a sensitivity mode in which it can detect up to 10,000 DPI (dots per inch). This is a very desirable gaming mouse because it comes with a lot of customizable features that allow you to directly control how frequently the computer communicates with the mouse (known as the polling rate), as well as how sensitive the mouse is in reacting to usage all through using it’s unique, original Razer Synapse 2.0 in-built software.
Optical laser technology such as seen with this gaming mouse means a more reliable and consistent experience when using the mouse on hard, cloth surfaces such as a mousepad. While optical sensor oriented mice perform more consistently, they do not necessarily perform faster than laser based gaming mice. Optical sensors prove to be more ‘error-free’ with performance, but again not faster in most cases and technology in comparison to laser sensor gaming mice.
